How dividends reach your portfolio
AlphaGen asks you to confirm each dividend before adding it.
- To get a dividend you must hold the share on the last day to hold, two working days before the book closure starts.
- Once the book closure ends, AlphaGen works out what you should have received from the shares you held and asks you to confirm it on your portfolio.
- You can change the amount, or say you didn't get it. Nothing is added until you confirm.
- Tax is taken off first, so only the cash that reached you counts. Your tax rate is asked once and remembered.
